Feelings... Don't Worry They Are About My Photo's.

Light: Before shooting I always try to think, why am I doing this, what is the big reason that I need to shoot this. And then it hit me, Emma, (I like to pretend God said this to me) there would be nothing without light. There would be no photography. So I thought the least I could do was show a little appreciation. The interesting thing about light is that it is truly different at every minute of the day. The days light will change in a matter of seconds. Even while writing this, I have already seen the light disappear behind the mountains. That was what I wanted to show, I guess. The idea the no shot was similar. The ideas that light will mold and change as you want it to, but also as it wants to. I wanted shoot this idea along with the idea that no shot is similar just because of time.
I shot in a couple different places. I shot a couple for this assignment while shooting for my final project. Morning light is obviously a big interest of mine, so I had a lot of fun with these, but trust me when I say my others are much better. I also shot at a couple parking lots, and some roads and highway intersections. I shot in this forest about fifteen minutes from my house. I had shot there before, my best photos from spring term in my opinion were from there. I got really lucky over there.
My first shot, well Slade, I GOT ON MY BELLY! I tried to show the idea of light disappearing. The idea that that light would not be there for that long. I looked the shot as a picture, but not as much as for the assignment.
My second shot was a little bit frustrating, because the actual image look much better than it was portrayed by my camera. I would have liked to worked with it a little bit more, trying out different techniques but I lost my light.
I shot my third image about 10 times. I choose the darkest of the images.
My forth and fifth shots are my favorite, mostly because I love it when you get really close and see them. They have weird light on the phone polls and I love that.
So that's about it.
