I found Trent Parke on Magnum. I really liked his stuff, so I decided to investigate hi. I found that he is a Australian photographer, and he is the only Australian who is a member of Magnum. He shot a 6 year project driving around Australia and taking pictures of everything and everybody. That was his largest piece, and it is named Minutes to Midnight. He has two other books as well that are names Dream/Life and The Seventh Wave. So now we can look at his work.
All of these images are from Minutes after Midnight:
1. I like this image because I have never seen motion displayed this way. The expose he took makes the motion shown not as a cloudy but misty. I think that it is really amazing that he was able to do this
2. I like the motion as well in this, but I really love how the faces are over exposed. I usually hate this but with the motion and the over expose I love it
3. This image is my favorite of all of the images I have up here. I love it. I have never seen rain shot this way. It is so beautiful to be. I love every pixel of this shot. It is a beautiful image
4. This image is my second favorite. I again love how he shoots the rain. I also think that the clouds are beautiful with how the sun is behind them. The reason why I don't think that it is the best image because it looks a little staged
5. I love the multiple exposes on this image. I think that you have to really look at the image to see how visually appealing it it. I love the image again because of the misty feeling you get by it
6. As most of my fellow waterfordian friends know, I love tree's and moons. And this picture has it, oh boy does it have it. Love the image, and the clouds are the bomb
7. This is a very interesting picture because it is a weird look at a panorama of the ocean. The curve of the wave is a interesting look at the ocean.
8. I like this images, it reminds me a lot of Harry Callhann Weeds work. I like it, but with the rest of his work, I think it doesn't match up,
9. I love the light and the way he centered with the man in the image.

Hello, I think Trent Parke is an amazing photographer. I think that photo n.7 isn't a panorama on the ocean, but a picture of a dusty road... BYE!
